We are a USA Boxing registered club, which means our athletes compete under the official rules and guidelines of USA Boxing, the national governing body for Olympic-style boxing. We participate in regional tournaments, giving our members the opportunity to test their skills, climb the ranks, and experience the thrill of competition. We even host an annual tournament, bringing all the action right here to Owensboro.

Payment Policy for Owensboro Boxing Club

1. Membership Requirement

 

Active membership is required for participation in all classes at Owensboro Boxing Club. This policy ensures we can maintain equipment, gear, pay rent, and keep our USA Boxing registration up to date.

 

2. Payment Methods

 

a) Online Payments:

We strongly recommend using our secure Stripe portal for membership management and automatic payments. This method provides the most convenient and efficient way to maintain your active status.

 

b) Cash Payments:

For those who prefer to pay as they go, we accept cash payments of $20 per class. Please bring exact change to expedite the check-in process.

 

3. No Entry Without Payment

 

To maintain fairness for all members, we cannot allow entry to classes without proof of payment. This policy applies to all participants without exception.

 

4. Refunds and Cancellations

 

- Membership fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances, to be determined at the discretion of Owensboro Boxing Club management.

- For pay-as-you-go classes, no refunds will be issued once the class has started.

- We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of pre-booked classes to be eligible for a credit or refund.

 

5. Late Payments

 

- For members on recurring payment plans, late payments may result in suspension of membership privileges until the account is brought current.

- A late fee of $10 may be applied to accounts more than 5 days past due.

 

6. Price Changes

 

We reserve the right to modify our pricing structure with reasonable notice to our members. Any changes will be communicated via email and posted at our facility.

 

7. Financial Hardship

 

We understand that financial situations can change. If you're experiencing difficulty with payments, please contact our management to discuss potential options.

Refund policy

Refund Policy

Special Events

Owensboro Boxing Club understands that circumstances may arise that require you to request a refund for a special event ticket. Our policy is to provide refunds in the following situations:

 * Event Cancellation: If Owensboro Boxing Club cancels the event entirely, you will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket price.

 * Significant Rescheduling: If Owensboro Boxing Club reschedules the event to a date that is more than two weeks beyond the original date, you will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket price.

Personal Training Sessions

You may request a refund for prepaid personal training sessions under the following conditions:

 * Cancellation with 72-hour notice: If you cancel a session at least 72 hours in advance, you will be eligible for a full refund.

 * Cancellation by Owensboro Boxing Club: If Owensboro Boxing Club cancels the session, you will be eligible for a full refund.

Non-Refundable Items and Services

Please note that the following items and services are non-refundable:

 * Monthly membership fees

 * Apparel purchases

 * Donations

 * Personal training sessions:

   * If you cancel with less than 72 hours' notice.

   * If you fail to attend a scheduled session (no-show).

   * If you change your mind about the session within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time.

   * Once the session has been completed.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please contact us at shevy@owensboroboxingclub.com within days of the event cancellation or rescheduling announcement, or within 72 hours of the personal training session you wish to cancel. Please provide your name, the event name or session details, and your order information.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 7 business days for the refund to be processed.

Exceptions

While the above outlines our general refund policy, we may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Changes to Policy

Owensboro Boxing Club reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
